I am Toni

Oluwatoni (Ohh-loo-wa-toe-knee) Daramola is deeply committed to leveraging design, underpinned by thorough research, to address challenges and sculpt immersive user experiences. Outside the professional sphere, he actively seeks out fresh opportunities to expand his horizons and acquire new knowledge.

Currently, he occupies the role of a UX analyst at WSIB, where he is dedicated to developing a novel user experience for a portal aimed at employers.

In his previous engagements, Oluwatoni has assumed various UX roles, notably contributing to the frontline user experience team at CIBC as an analyst. There, he played a pivotal role in the innovation and advancement of the Ops function within UX practices, an achievement that earned him the CIBC Exceptional Student Award. Furthermore, he was a key member of the victorious team at the D&E FLEX Case Competition.

I’m currently looking for a full-time position.

My interest in design began when I found an abandoned PC with Corel 7. From there I moved into web design and finally to product design in 2017 when a friend told me about Figma. I caught the UI/UX bug and have yet to recover from it.

As a result of my aptitude for problem-solving, effective communication skills with people of diverse backgrounds, and an understanding of contemporary user-centered design, I can promote product engagement and uptake, while solving user problems and delivering pleasant user experiences.

In my free time, I enjoy reading small non-fiction books, listening to afro-pop music, or watching a good movie.
